Vance Eugene Bryan

Bryan Eugene Vance On Tuesday, February 8th Bryan Eugene Vance went home to the loving arms of Jesus. Bryan was born in Ephrata, Washington in 1963 where he grew up with his siblings Steven “Bo” Vance, and Shannon Hintz (Vance). Bryan learned the importance of a loving family from his dear late grandparents Don and Winnie Hill. Bryan spent many of his adolescent days camping and fishing with his grandparents and recalled the time spent with them as some of the most important and special times in his life. Bryan had a huge personality and if he was in the room, you knew it. His loud laughter and boisterous storytelling were unmistakable and could brighten up the darkest day. An avid fisherman that loved going out on the water and casting a line any time he got the chance. Bryan met the love of his life Ronda (Costello) Vance in the spring of 2010, and they knew instantly they had found their soulmate. Although they found each other later in life their instant connection was the deepest and realest either had ever found. They were fortunate to enjoy several trips together, but their favorite place was on the big island of Hawaii. Bryan loved all animals but most of all he loved his golden retriever “puppy dawgs” they brought so much joy to his life and were all his fur babies. Although Bryan didn’t have any biological children of his own he loved his stepchildren like his own and he was born to be a papa, he looked forward to seeing his grandkids any time they came over to see him and made them all feel so special and loved. Bryan described the birth of his granddaughter DenverJo as one of the most impactful moments in his life and their bond was truly special. He loved taking his grandkids out on the boat for fishing adventures, and he was so proud to teach them everything he knew. A beloved uncle who beamed with pride for his nieces and nephews. A dear friend that would give you the shirt off of his back. A beautiful soul whose memory we will cherish forever. Bryan is survived by his wife Ronda Vance, his two stepchildren, Cory Marquis, and Jesseanne Marquis, grandchildren Paris, Chance, DenverJo, and Miles. His sister Shannon (Phil) Hintz, And brother Steven “Bo” (Tracy) Vance. His nieces Amanda (Jedediah) Barta, Natalie (Don) Snyder, Breanna (Jr) Vela, and nephews Tyson Hintz and Bo Vance. Multiple great-nieces and nephews. And all of his closest friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Winona “Winnie” Hill. There will be a service to celebrate the life of Bryan on Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 pm at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories. There will be a potluck reception to follow, we encourage everyone to wear their best Hawaiian shirt in honor of Bryan.
