Connie Johnson

Constance G. Johnson -- On November 8, 2008 with her family by her side Connie let go of the reins and her horse took her home to be with God. Connie was born on February 21, 1925 in Kintyre, ND to Adam and Cora Gerber. On October 2, 1943, Connie was married to Harold L. Johnson Sr., her small town Swed. They lived their lives as one for 65 magical years. Together having 3 children Skip, Vicki, and Tram. Which in turn brought her enjoyment and fulfilled her life. They started their life together with a small farm in Kintyre, ND then moved to Bismark, ND until 1951 when they relocated to Seattle, WA. Their first home in Seattle sat right where the Space Needle now stands. From there they moved to North Seattle (Greenwood area). During that time Connie was mainly a home maker but also worked in the fabric department of New Berry's and Whitefront. In 1988 they sold their home and moved to Moses Lake, WA where she made many new friends and lost her webbed feet. Connie was preceded by both her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Connie is survived by her husband Harold of 65 years; her son Skip and his wife, Barb Johnson, daughter, Vicki Grubb; son Tram and his wife, Charlene Johnson, 11 grandkids, and 16 great grandkids. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. The family will greet friends at the Moses Lake Senior Center, 608 E. 3rd Ave., following the service.
