Sandra Kay Metzker Garcia

Sandra Kay Metzker Garcia passed away comfortably at home surrounded by her Loving Family on November 12, 2021 in Moses Lake Washington. Sandy was a very Fun, Caring and Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend to Many. Sandy was Born on January 3, 1965 in Yakima, WA to John and Linda (Barnes) Metzker. Sandy attended and Graduated High School in Othello, WA Class of 1983. After High School Sandy attended Yakima Valley Community College. Throughout her early life Sandy worked in many environments and made many connections and a great deal of friends. Her life long career began at Chemicon Materials where she retired after 24 years. Sandy made a lot of friends and touched many hearts at work and throughout her beautiful life she touched and cared for many. Sandy is preceded in Death by her Parents, John and Linda Metzker. Sandy is Survived by her Husband Jesus (Nat) Garcia of 13 years and dog Bella. Her Son’s Anthony Metzker (Wife Maranda) and Zachery Metzker (Wife Leah) in Moses Lake WA; Natalie Alonso (Husband Tino) in Yakima WA, Jarrod Garcia in Moses Lake WA, and Graham Garcia in Spokane WA. Sisters; Kathy Hoag (Larry) of Prosser WA in Surprise AR, Pamala Luczak (Husband Marlin) in Moses Lake WA, Brothers; Gary Metzker (Marlene) in Richland WA, John Metzker Jr. in Moses Lake WA, Howard Metzker (Wife Melissa) in Yakima WA and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Her Joy’s in her Life were her Grandchildren who she loved with all of her heart; Jayden, Jaylie and Jaylah Alonso. They Alway's went camping and on Vacations with Grandma. Grandma made sure to instill all of her great values, morals, and Go-Getter Attitude in all of them. Her youngest Grandson Hudson Metzker; she loved unconditionally. Grandma got him lots of gifts and also taught him all of the great nursery rhymes. A viewing will be held at Kayser’s Memorial Chapel of Memories in Moses Lake Washington on Saturday November 20th 2021 at 9:00 am. to 11:00 am. The viewing will be followed by a grave side service at Guarding Angels Cemetery also in Moses Lake WA at 11:15. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in 2022. (Sandy’s Favorite color is purple, as a family we ask that everyone attending wear some form of purple. If you do not have purple there will be a small purple ribbon to pin on, available at the viewing.)
