Margery Ruth (Bergevin)Bryan, 92, Moses Lake resident passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Samaritan Hospital. Private Interment was held at Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Margery was born in Walla Walla, Washington on March 12, 1925 to Clement and Emma (Smith) Bergevin. She was raised on a farm and had registered Herefords. She married Ted Smith in 1943 and they had two children, Mary (Smith) Davey and Gus Smith. They had hay, cattle and sheep operations in Walla Walla, Okanogan and Moses Lake. Margery married Tom Bryan in 1970. They also farmed and had livestock in Royal City. Margery enjoyed being involved with several local civic organizations along with Cattle Women, Hereford Auxiliary and Woolgrowers. In 1981, she was named the Royal City Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Citizen. Survivors include her brother, Claro Bergevin and sister, Claire Spohn, both of Walla Walla, WA, and sister, Mary Armstrong of Green Valley, AZ; children Mary Davey of Moses Lake, WA and son, Gus Smith of Ellensburg, WA; grandchildren Trudy, Tammy, Ron, Travis, Dustin, and Troy; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Bob, Sara, Tom, Christopher, Brad, Ben, Allison, Micah, Abbie, Tyler, Kendra, and Kaitlin; and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mom was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and friend to many.
