Lyle Deforrest Nichols

February 16, 1953 - January 31, 2022

Lyle Deforrest Nichols Lyle was born in February of 1953 in Kirkland, WA. After a long battle with cancer, Lyle has gone to be with the Lord on January 31, 2022. Lyle cherished his family with his every being. He will be missed greatly; he was truly grateful to have met and touched so many people throughout the 40 years of his trucking career. Lyle loved camping and fishing and he had many great childhood memories of himself and his sisters enjoying Lake Kachess. Lyle is Preceded in death by his parents, Reid and Betty Nichols, his step daughter Mary Sorley and his step granddaughter Katrina. Lyle is survived by his significant other, Rae Nichols, of Moses Lake, WA, sisters Arloa Gilmore of North Bend, WA, Reida and Terry Wegman of Leavenworth, WA, Peggy and Clark Gunther of Florida; His children Paul Edward Nichols, Lyle Jr. Nichols of Michigan, Racheal Nichols of Georgia; Stepchildren, Jim Knottoff of WA, Bob Shephard of WA, Vicki (Ditter) Fitch of WA, Lisa Davis of Idaho; And several Grandchildren as well. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
