Linda Gudrun Allison Loiseau, 79, of Moses Lake, WA, passed away from natural causes peacefully in her sleep on September 29, 2020. Born August 19, 1941, to her mother, Verla Delilah Gummere and her father Karl Andrea Allison, In Seattle, Washington. Linda is survived by her eternal husband, Euan Emiel Loiseau, and her sister, Cindy Lee Walters; her seven children; Michele Yoder, Trece LaNel Loiseau, Trent Loiseau, Becca Rael Atlee, Megen McBride, Ember Dimond and Briel Loiseau; 25 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Linda lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother to her children and her grandchildren. She was a caring sister to five siblings, an amazing wife, and a dear friend to many. Linda had a passion for the cultural arts, theatre and the visual arts. She cherished literature and found great joy participating in many book clubs throughout her life. Her volunteer work included well over 50 years of church service and promoting cultural arts in our Moses Lake community. She served as the first president of the Allied Arts of Columbia Basin Council in 1977, founding this enriching program with a group of likeminded intellects. Linda found great peace and inspiration while watching the waves crashing on the Washington shore. She accomplished life goals there of journaling and writing poetry. One of her favorite quotes is, “To the solemn sea the women come…With their walking sticks they draw signs in the sand. And the sea erases their calligraphy…” Pablo Naruda. Linda graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle, WA in 1959 and went on to attend the University of Washington. Linda started her career at the University of Washington in the HR department. She worked for the Grant County Auditor’s Office starting in 1981 and Big Bend Community College as the Payroll Manager. She moved on to have a 15 year career in administrative internet technology systems, as an HRMS Manager, for Washington higher education institutions. Private services are being held. Burial will be at Guarding Angel Cemetery, 2595 Road L N.E., Moses Lake, WA. The family wishes to thank the community for the delivery of comforting meals and thoughtful loving condolences. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone touched by her years of dedicated service to her family, friends, faith, community and the arts.
