Frances Rae Fancher

September 13, 1951 - October 10, 2020

With profound sadness on Saturday, October 10th, 2020, we announce the passing of Frances Rae Fancher (69), loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Frances was born on September 13th, 1951 in St. Anthony, ID. She graduated from Moses Lake High School, class of 69. After high school, she went to LDS Business College in Utah. She then spent over 46 years working as an office manager for various highway construction companies. In 2015 she married Bob Fancher who truly showed her the world through their many travels and when they were home they loved cooking and entertaining for all their family and friends. Frances was a dedicated mother and grandmother, she treasured them all, and embraced every moment with them, always driving near and far to support them in their activities. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, and enjoyed making beautiful personalized quilts among many other homemade crafts she created. She loved music, with Elvis and Neil Diamond being some of her favorites. She had a thirst for adventure that included boating, camping, golfing, and seeing the country via a motorcycle and by motor home. One of her favorite places to retreat was her yard as she landscaped and gardened. She had a special bond with her favorite dog, Millie. When and wherever she went she always looked her best. She was the go to sister, the hub of communication, whenever any sibling needed to be caught up on the entire family, Frances was the one to call. She was the glue that kept her family connected. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons a strong work ethic that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Frances was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dorothy Schaat: her former husband, Kyle Robnett, the father of her children; and former husband Ray Gunn. She is survived by her husband Bob and her sons, Shawn (Jill) Robnett and their daughters Kayla (Colby) Doyea, Avery (Robert) Boisvert, Rachel (Kaedyn) Hancock and Jeffrey (Carrie) Robnett and their daughters, Stephanie (Andy) Pacheco, Shiann Robnett, Samantha (Jon) Ovregaard and ShaylieAnn Robnett; and three great-grand children. Her siblings Lucinda (William) West, Peter (Betty) Schaat, Jennifer (Al) Merritt, and Elaine Williams. Many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, Radiation Fund or a charity of your choice.
