Edna Lee Kraft Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edna Lee Kraft was born on May 25, 1942 to Harry and Helen Nickelson in Boysen, Wyoming. She was city girl but embraced country living. She grew up in the Wyoming. She loved spending time with Nanny and Aunt Louise. She enjoyed riding horses and branding cows. She married the love of her life and soul mate, Henry Kraft, on December 10, 1968. They raised 6 kids Brenda, Dianna, Dean, Terri, Paul, and Melissa in the small town of Manderson, Wyoming on a farm. They grew sugar beets and raised their animals. Edna was a proud supporter of her kid’s sports. She was the mom in the crowd that never missed a game. She helped with FFA, sports and cheerleading. Henry and Edna taught their kids some great skills on the farm. Edna loved her horses and animals. She enjoyed the farm life. Edna and her siblings Wilma, Jackie, Dixie and Denny were able to all raise their families together in Wyoming. They spent holidays together and made many long lasting memories. She was able to help with many costumes for parades, including her dressing up as an Indian maiden riding her horse Mr. Heart, and winning. After the 4 older kids grew up, Henry and Edna moved Paul and Melissa to Arizona in 1993. They were able to start a different life in the big city. Edna was able to watch her grandkids grow up. She helped babysit many of them. She taught many of them lasting morals and life lessons. The grandkids will never forget her singing Amazing Grace and You are My Sunshine. There are also memories of the soap in the mouth for saying bad words. Edna passed away on July 23, 2022 in Warden, Washington at home surrounded by her loved ones. She will forever be missed and loved. The family will hold a private service together in a remembrance of her life. They also would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and ongoing outreach they have received throughout this year. She survived by her husband Henry Kraft of 53 years, children Brenda Felsman, Dianna Phillips (George), Terri Roessing, Dean Roessing (Jeri), Paul Kraft, and Melissa Stinson (Chris), sister Dixie Realing (Pat), brother Denny Nickelson (Nancy), 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, dogs-Stubby, Trixy, Chloe and Muffin and Cat. Edna is proceeded in death by – Parents Harry and Helen Nickelson, Uncle George and Aunt Louise Kraft, Sisters Jackie McGee and Wilma Shaffer and many dogs, cats and horses.
