Christopher John Overland

Christopher John Overland passed away, unexpectedly, on June 20, 2021. Chris was born in Spokane, WA on September 14, 1956. He grew up, and remained in Spokane until 1981 when he relocated to Moses Lake, WA to begin a career in Maintenance and Engineering at Carnation. In 2014, Chris began his new career as General Manager of the MLIRD, where he remained until his passing. In 1986, Chris married the love of his life, Paula. Chris and Paula went on to have four kids in John, Nicholas, Stephanie, and Alysha. Chris always stated that his greatest accomplishment was the family that he and Paula had created. His wife and children remained his pride and joy until the day that he passed on. Chris’ hobbies included fishing, golfing, and taking trips with his family to the Oregon Coast. No matter what the occasion, if Chris’ family was together, his heart was at its fullest. Chris is preceded in death by his Father (Arthur), Mother (Carmelita), and brother (Raymond). Chris is survived by his wife (Paula), sons (John and Nicholas), daughters (Stephanie and Alysha), and brother (Mark). Chris will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Our hearts are broken without you, Dad…Until we meet again. Memorial services for Christopher will be announced by the family at a later date.
