Jeffrey Lee Ragan

Moses Lake long time resident Jeffrey Lee Ragan lived a life of many accomplishments and adventures. Jeff was born in Moses Lake on February 17th 1960. shortly after his birth his family began travelling around the Country with his father Jack Clyde Ragan, and uncles Richard Ragan and Robert Daum who all worked for Minute Man Missiles through Boeing. The family lived many places like Montana, North Dakota, & Nebraska. This traveling formed a bond between Jeff, his brother Kim, sister Jackie, cousins Brock, Mitch, Robin and Randi that could never be broken. Mother of this close family is Belva Fae Ragan who was the backbone of the family that kept them all healthy and happy. When the family settled back in Moses Lake to grow their permanent residence, Jeff attended Moses Lake High school, where he excelled in academics and swam for the Maneray aquatics swim team. Jeff held the record for over 20 years in butterfly stroke at the aquatics center. After high school Jeff began an apprenticeship at Moses Lake sheet metal where he eventually gained employment working alongside his father for several years. Jeff Ragan was a man of many talents and enjoyed many exciting hobbies. His patriotism was strong because he loved his Country through and through. Jeff loved military air planes, motor cycles and swimming competitively. Motocross ran in Jeff's blood, dirt bikes were his life and his love. He raced dirt bikes competitively in his younger years, then went on to put on motocross races here in Moses Lake. He attended Washugal supercross every year for over 30 years. Jeff lived a life full of exciting adventures with family surrounding him, showing him love through it all. Jeff Ragan is survived by his mother Belva Ragan, sister Jackie White (Ragan), brother Kim Ragan, brother in-law Brad White, nephew Brian White, niece Jaime White and great nephew Mason. Jeff passed away on Wednesday July 10th 2019 and has rejoined his father Jack and his loving dog Sirius in Heaven. Celebration of life services be held at Airmens Beach Moses Lake Wa. At 4pm. Saturday 20th. Dinner will be provided. Please bring a lawn chair. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated. You can donate at the services or mail your donations to 17505 E. Indiana ave spokane valley wa 99016. The family is asking for these donations as we will be donating to a suicide prevention and help center.
