Elizabeth Jane Knight

Our sweet Elizabeth Jane Knight tragically left us on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Elizabeth leaves behind her father, Mark Knight, mother, Melissa Knight, and her younger brother, Jacob Knight, along with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, many cousins and close friends who are already missing her so dearly. Elizabeth will be remembered by her family and friends as a sweet, intelligent, young lady who made them smile or laugh. She is most likely remembered by every teacher whose class she attended throughout her Elementary, Middle and High School years. She had an impressive vocabulary and was very articulate. Elizabeth was a 2018, graduate of Moses Lake High School. She was a member of the women’s swim team her Freshman year, and played tennis her Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. She attended Big Bend Community College through the Running Start program her Junior and Senior years of high school, and after completing her AA Degree, went on to attend Washington State University with her best friend. Elizabeth loved her time at WSU. Elizabeth was an excellent writer and enjoyed her criminal justice classes. While at WSU, she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority for two years, and made many new friends. Elizabeth was both a dedicated student and became an avid fitness enthusiast while at WSU. She spent many hours at the Library and the Rec Center. She graduated with honors, in June 2022, with her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication. At home, Elizabeth loved the family dogs and cats and enjoyed playing with and loving them. She spent time at a local fitness club where she also made many friends. She loved to spend time with her friends locally or attending WSU Football games together. GO COUGS! At 24, Elizabeth had so much promise, potential and life yet unlived, and her absence leaves a void that will never be filled. Good bye for now, Sweet Angel. You left too soon. We hold you in our hearts and minds forever. A viewing will be held at Kaysers Chapel on Thursday, December 7, from 12-4p.m. The service to remember Elizabeth will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:00a.m., at The First Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake at 1142 W. Ivy Avenue. There will be a graveside following the service at the Guarding Angels Cemetery at 2595 Road L Northeast, then refreshments will be available at the First Presbyterian Church for anyone who wishes to visit.
