Debora Crowder 1961 – 2025 Debora Crowder, 64, passed away peacefully in Spokane, Washington. Born in Othello, Washington, Deb spent her life surrounded by the quiet beauty of orchard country in the Columbia Basin. It’s where she built her home, raised her family, and filled her days with love, resilience, and laughter. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard Crowder and the beloved daughter of Gordon and Karole Bradshaw, who preceded her in death. Deb is survived by her three daughters: Karrie Norris (Scott), Kristina Crowder, and Camille Woodward (Mark); and her two sisters, Linda Hackstock and Stacy Kelley. Her greatest joy was being “Grammy” to her five grandchildren: Maddox (18), Oliver (15), and Zula (13), children of Kristina; and Michelle (16) and Wyatt (13), children of Camille. She cherished every moment with them—always proud, always full of love. Deb worked for many years as an instructional aide in the Royal School District, where she formed lasting friendships and touched countless lives. She nurtured and supported generations of students, many of whom she proudly watched grow into young adults, create families of their own, and become professionals. Deb was also a very talented seamstress who found joy in creating clothing and gifts for her loved ones. She spent countless hours in her sewing room, carefully perfecting each project with patience and love. Whether it was a special outfit, a handmade costume, or just something to make someone smile, her creations were stitched with care and a deep sense of thoughtfulness. Deb especially loved spending summer afternoons at the lake with her family and friends, soaking up the sun on the boat and making memories that lasted a lifetime. She had a real talent for slalom skiing and took pride in how well she could cut across the water—something she truly enjoyed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Fellowship in Royal City, Washington.
