Cindy L Murphy

Cindy Louise (Moore) Murphy was born February 27, 1962 to the late William H. & Dorothy L. Moore (Burnett). Cindy was the fifth child in the home, she was the first daughter to Bill and Dorothy. This distinction gave her the name of "Special Angel" from her parents. Another brother and a baby sister soon followed Cindy making her five of seven children in the Moore home. Cindy Graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1980. She worked at Buttrey's Grocery Store through high school. She ventured away for a few years to Tacoma. Living with family she worked with disabled children. This was a job she was passionated about, she loved it very much but missed her family more. She moved home after a few short years and went to work at Carnation. Cindy worked for Carnation in Moses Lake for 15 years and six years at Takata before retiring. In 1993 she met and fell in love with James "Jim" Murphy. They married in 1997 and spent the last 22 years happily taking long drives, doing yard work, and spending time with their family. In her marriage to Jim she gained a step-daughter Bernadatte whom she loved very much. Although Cindy didn't bare any children of her own she did have her dogs. Tilly and Kia who she treated as her children and loved them so. You could always find them in her lap or the arm of her chair. To know Cindy was to love her. She was a mother hen to all. Especially her brothers, sister and their Mom. With three or four daily phone calls just to check in, tell you her newest favorite recipe, or let you know what was on T.V in case you wanted to catch it. She shared a special connection with each of her many nieces and nephews. Cindy leaves behind her beloved husband Jim. Step-Daughter Bernadette Garcia and Grandson Xander. Mother, Dorothy Burnett (Harvey). Brothers Randy Camyn, Terry (Donna) Moore, William (Sabrina) Moore, Jeffery Moore, and one sister Vicki (Chuck) Brumet. Jim's family Joey (Jennifer) Zamora, Mariana (Fabian) Zamora, Kathy (Tim) Nelson, Marsha (Richard) Meyer, Robert (Nanci) Murphy, and Mother In Law Shirley Murphy. Preceded in death by her father William "Bill" Moore, brother Roger Camyn. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake on June 3rd at 10 A.M with reception to follow.
