Angelita Pruneda

Angelita Pruneda, 83, was called home to be with our Lord and savior March 26, 2024. She spent her final days at home with her family. Angelita was born in Llano, Mexico to Antonio and Hermelinda Garza, on March 23, 1941. Her and her family were seasonal migrant workers moving between the United States and Mexico for work through her teenage years. She was raised as a migrant worker until she met the love of her life, Felipe Pruneda, and got married on January 27, 1963. She then settled in Warden, Washington and started her family. She had many hobbies like sewing and gardening but her favorite was taking care of her family. She spent most of her life loving and taking care of her family. Her children and grandchildren knew and felt her love. Her grandchildren will always remember her for the coffee, strawberry candies and homemade papas that she always had on hand for them. Her grandchildren loved to sit on the porch with her and eat the cucumber and tomatoes from her garden. She could usually be found caring for one or a couple of her grandchildren or feeding one of her children. They always knew they could come home and eat. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. She was strong in her faith and loved the Lord. Angelita was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Hermelinda Garza, her Husband Felipe Pruneda, her brothers Apolonar Garza, Pablo Garza, her sister Hermila Zamora, Daughter Agustina Pruneda, and her grandson Xavier Rafael Pruneda. He is survived by sisters Tolentina Moreno, Eva Pena, Lidia Corenado, and Yolanda Castor. Her brothers, Antonio Garza, Richard Garza, Reynaldo Garza, her children; Esteban Pruneda, Roberto (Jessica) Pruneda, Enrique Pruneda, Angie (Rich) Crozier, Felipe Jr Pruneda, Rafael Pruneda. Her family grew by (27) grandchildren and (43) great-grandchildren and (1) great-great-grandchild. Viewing will be held at the Warden Assembly of God Church on Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Warden Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
