Joanne Ruth Haugen, 75, a long time Moses Lake resident lost her long fought battle with cancer passing away on Friday, July 13, 2012. A memorial for Joanne will be held in Longview, Washington at a later date. Mrs. Haugen was born August 1, 1936 in Chehalis, Washington. She enjoyed gardening, backpacking and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Joanne is survived by her husband Gary Haugen, Moses Lake; three sons, Kevin (Robin) Walthers, Richland, WA, Terry Walthers, Longview, WA, Andy (RaeAnn) Walthers of Shoreline, WA; three sisters, Lois Walters, Donna Doerge, both of Longview, WA, Julie Underhill, Roseburg, OR, one brother, John Steinbrink, Mukilteo, WA; four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Olive and John Steinbrink.
