Judith Ann Starkey, 69, a resident of Warden and formerly of Mount Lake Terrace was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Judith was born on June 15, 1942 in Seattle, Washington, daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Rawlins. She and her husband, Byron, moved to Warden from Mount Lake Terrace four years ago. They were members of the Lake Valley Baptist Church, Pastor Albey Horat. She was a homemaker in the truest sense and loved raising her family including her grandchildren,Christina and Dylan. She was the rock and heart of the family. She was an avid letter writer and those letters will be sorely missed. Judith is survived by her husband, Byron; 5 children, John, Marie, Connie, Christine and Brenda; 5 step-children, Tammy, Tari, Christy, Rick and Darwin; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson; also by an older sister Mary Kay and twin Joanne. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Robert Russell, the father of her five children. She loved spoiling her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
