Obituary:
Beloved husband and father, Allen Dwight Nunley passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 after a battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Bovill Cemetery in Bovill, Idaho. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory. He moved to Yakima, Washington with his family when he was 9. He graduated from Eisenhower High School and went into the National Guard, where he was honorably discharged. On May 11, 1973 he married Vickie Velinda Smith. He spent 25 years in Othello, Washington working for Marley Orchards. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He watched Nascar and football. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; daughter, Jennifer Shawna Nigh, son-in-law, DeWayne Nigh; adopted son, Allen James (A.J.); stepson, Heath Smith and his wife Tina; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sierra, Christopher Logan, Cassandra Velinda, Brittney Nicole, Bovill Nicolas, Monica Ashley, Matthew Jeremy; sisters, Opal McWain, Sherry Miller, Pat Duvall, Dean Dunn; brothers, Eddie Nunley and Steve Nunley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Nunley and mother-in-law, Pauline Smith.
