Obituary:
Darlene Schwahn (Hartman) passed away February 18, 2010 peacefully at the age of 71 in her home. The funeral service will be held at the chapel at St. Joseph cemetery @17825 E. Trent in the Spokane Valley on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with graveside service to follow directly after the funeral. In lieu of flowers please make contributions in her name to either Cancer Care Northwest in Spokane, WA or Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation in Moses Lake, WA. She was born on 1/17/39 in Watford City, ND to Norval and Muriel Hartman. She met and married the love of her life Norbert Schwahn on July 2, 1955. She was proceeded in death by her parents Norval and Muriel Hartman, her infant sister Shirley Hartman, son Kurt Schwahn, sister-in law Mary Hartman and niece Patty Judy. She is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years Norbert Schwahn, daughter Karma (John) Rouse, son Damon (Bobbi) Schwahn, daughter in-law Alice Schwahn, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
