Gerald "Jerry" Greenleaf died peacefully at the family home in Grant Orchards (Soap Lake area) on January 29, 2010 surrounded by his family and two favorite cats.
He was born on December 12, 1928 in Manchester, New Hampshire and went straight into the Navy after High School. He served proudly for 8 years and then continued on to the Federal Civil Service - Department of Defense for 26 years, finishing up at Ft. Lewis, Washington
Jerry thoroughly loved his family, animals and retirement in the Soap Lake - Ephrata area.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, at home; son, Gregg and wife, Paula of Puyallup; daughter Christine Marie Plano and grandson, Zachary of Puyallup; son-in-law, Jeff Plano of Bonney Lake; sister, Lillian Haapala, and a sister-in-law, Cathy Aliesch, both of the Boston, MA area; brother-in-law and wife, Michael and Florence Aliesch and family of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews.
A family gathering will be held in the Spring and memorials may be made in Jerry's name to: Wags 'N' Whiskers Animal Rescue, P.O.
