Obituary:
It is with the deepest love and respect that we, Norm, Jerry and Terry Simons write this last story of our brother, Charles Bernard Simons, "Chuck". Charles Bernard Simons was born April 30th, 1951 in Moses Lake Washington to Norman Francis Simons Sr. and Joyce Elaine Wassink-Simons. Chuck lived the greater part of his life here in Washington state with some great life adventures in the Wyoming Oil fields. Our brother was an exceptionally gifted athlete throughout high school, college and on the national level. Chuck could achieve at any sport but loved the "one on one" competition of the wrestling mat. He loved to share his knowledge and skills with others. He was an avid outdoors man and one of the luckiest fisherman ever to cast a line. He could catch fish in a mud puddle. Chuck choose to live as an independent person and he accepted all that came with that way of life, whatever it brought him. Chuck shared his life happily with his lovely wife, Joanne, who proceeded him in death. They lived in Nevada state and then return to the Spokane area to live out their lives together. Chuck was a wonderful uncle and friend to all family members. He is also survived by his sister -in- law, Cathy and many nieces: Jamie, Jenny, Amy and nephews: Lance, Joe, Bryan and child: Jeremy. A special note from Norm, Jerry and Terry to You Chuck, "Good Bye Blue Eyes" You were an incredible brother to us all. You are loved in a very special way by your brothers and sister. You made us proud to be loved by you.
