Obituary:
Lisa Ann Nichols, 44, life long resident of Moses Lake, was called home to be with our Lord on December 15, 2009, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee due to severe health complications. Lisa was born to Robert Nichols and Sibyl (Nichols) Reese on April 4, 1965, at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Lisa graduated from Moses Lake School District in 1983. She had two daughters, Brittney Archer and Heather Nichols, also two grandchildren, Blake William Scott Nichols and Alaia Rose Archer, all of Moses Lake. Lisa loved cashiering at Wal*Mart. The social interaction she got between the customers and co-workers warmed her heart deeply. She was devastated when her health forced her to retire from working. When that point in her life came, she found more time to do the things she loved to do, like spending time at our family cabin on Lake Roosevelt, crocheting blankets and scarves. Lisa has always been a diehard Seattle Seahawks and NASCAR fan. She never missed a game or a race. But her biggest joy in life was her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren very much. She would call Blake and Alaia all the time just to talk and see what they were doing. She especially loved family dinners and gatherings. Lisa cherished every moment she had with her family and friends. She loved to BBQ, camping boat racing, everything outdoors. Lisa was preceded in death by: her father Robert L. Nichols, her grandparents Bill and Marjorie Frederickson, Alvie and Doris Nichols, her step-father William H. Reese Jr., along with numerous other family members. Lisa was survived by: her two daughters Brittney and Mark Archer, Heather Nichols, two grandchildren Blake W.S. Nichols, Alaia Rose Archer, her mother Sibyl Reese, brother Scott and Donna Nichols, brother Brent Reese, sister Janette and Ralph Moore, sister Cherie Reese, eight nieces and nephews, two great-nephews, all of Moses Lake. And not to be forgotten many well loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. God saw Lisa getting tired And a cure was not to be so. He put his arms around her and whispered, “Come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched her And saw her pass away. We loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the BEST. In loving memory of Lisa Ann Nichols We will always love you.
