Dorothy E. Pixton, 81, a longtime resident of Warden and Moses Lake, passed away on November 6, 2009. A service in celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. November 13, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warden. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden.
Dorothy was born on August 26, 1928 in Shelley, Idaho to James C. Beasley and Sarah Edna Beasley (Summers).
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Ferris who passed away in February of 1976 and son, Rick who passed away in June of 1970. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis T. (Beth) and Anthony F. (Holly); a daughter, Annette, a brother, DeLoy (Donalene), eight grandchildren; Michelle, Heather, Jennifer, Brian, David, Mark, Chris and Kristin and ten great-grandchildren; Makenna, Michael, Julia, Gwynnie, Gracie, Ellie, Jacob, Landon, Brecken and Eli.
Dorothy will be remembered for her love of family, her love of life and for her absolute belief in the goodness of mankind.
